Best Weight Lifting Chest Exercises
Back Exercises tips and techniques:
PULLDOWNS- In a seated position and your back straight take a wide grip on the pulldown bar and pull the weight down behind your neck. The wide grip back exercises widen your back muscles, a more narrow grip will work the inner part of your back.
CLOSE GRIP PULLDOWNS- With your back straight but leaning back slightly at the waist take a close grip and pull down. This will work the inner back.
STANDING ROWS- With one knee and the same hand on the bench for balance take a dumbbell with the other hand and pull up.
SEATED ROWS- In a seated position with your legs straight out and your torso straight up so as to have them at a 90 degree angle, pull weight towards your stomach using either a wide or narrow grip.
SHRUGS- Using either dumbbells or a barbell, with arms hanging and back erect, shrug your shoulders concentrating on using your upper back or traps to do the work.
Before doing back exercises make sure to stretch.
